Transformers: Dark of The Moon [2011]

SYNOPSIS:

 Selama hari-hari terakhir perang yang menghancurkan planet Cybertron, sebuah pesawat ruang angkasa yang dikenal sebagai Ark berusaha untuk melarikan diri. Dikemudikan oleh pemimpin terbaik Autobot bernama Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy), kapal itu dikatakan berisi item khusus yang bisa membantu Autobots memenangkan perang atas Decepticons. Namun, kapal itu dihantam rudal musuh. Kapal dan awaknya hilang jauh di luar angkasa.

            Pada tahun 1961, kecelakaan The Ark di bulan terdeteksi oleh NASA. Khawatir bahwa Rusia dapat mengalahkan mereka untuk mencari tahu apa objek yang tak dikenal itu, Presiden John F Kennedy menyuruh NASA untuk mendaratkan manusia di bulan, menyelidikinya. 8 tahun kemudian, pada tahun 1969, Apollo 11 mendarat di bulan, dan astronot Neil Armstrong (Don Jeanes) dan Buzz Aldrin (Cory Tucker) diam-diam menjelajahi pesawat itu. Mereka kembali dengan sampel dan gambar, dan membawa informasi yang lebih lanjut.

 
            Pada hari itu, Autobots masih bekerja dengan Tim NEST untuk melacak Decepticons yang tinggal di planet ini, serta sesuatu yang tidak biasa. Sementara Autobots Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Enzo, dan Que berupaya untuk mengambil sebuah pabrik nuklir ilegal Timur-Tengah, Mayor Lennox (Josh Duhamel) diinformasikan oleh seorang pejabat Ukraina, Alexi Vokshod, tentang sesuatu yang aneh terjadi di sekitar lokasi bencana Chernobyl. Lennox memimpin tim bersama dengan Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) dan Ratchet (Robert Foxworth) ke bagian radioaktif. Di dalam pabrik, Prime menemukan sebuah sel bahan bakar dari Ark, dan sesuatu yang bahkan lebih mengejutkan: Decepticon Shockwave (Frank Welker) dan robot pengeboran raksasa dalam perintahnya. Setelah pertarungan singkat, Shockwave dan robot pengebor mundur. Selama pertempuran, seorang pembunuh Decepticon, Laserbeak (Keith Szarabajka), penyergapan Vokshod membunuhnya. 

             Film besutan sutradara kondang Michael Bay kali ini benar-benar menyuguhkan aksi yang tidak tanggung-tangung. Dengan spesial effect yang memukau dan memanjakan mata, efek slow motion yang terlihat di film ini membuat perbedaan tersendiri, desain semua karakter Transformers diperhalus, dan plot alur cerita Transformers 3 'kembali' dikait-kaitkan dengan sejarah, pendaratan pertama kali astronot ke bulan. Biarpun kekurangannya, ada, tetapi tertupi oleh visual effect yang cukup membuat kita terpesona. Dan jangan lupa! Film ini sempat bertahan selama 2 minggu di jajaran film Box Office Amerika dengan pendapatan 100 juta-an dollar per minggu! WOW!
